Palmer Lake Storage, Lot & Driveway Upgrade
A full parking-lot and access-drive upgrade for a storage facility, regrading the route, fixing drainage, and laying down a surface customers can actually navigate in any weather.

The owners of Palmer Lake Storage needed a serious upgrade. Years of customer traffic, weather, and heavy vehicle loads had taken a real toll on the parking lot and access drive, and the surface had reached the point where it was costing the business.
The problem
The driveway leading into the facility had developed deep ruts and washboards, and the parking lot had low spots that pooled water around the unit doors. Customers were getting stuck after storms, and the irregular surface was rough on anyone hauling a trailer in or out.
What we did
We staged the work to keep the facility open while we rebuilt the access. We scraped, regraded, and re-crowned the driveway so water moves to the shoulders instead of standing on the surface. The parking-lot bays got the same treatment, fresh base material, proper compaction, and a finish surface that holds up under repeated heavy loads.
We also re-shaped the entry from the road so storm water from the main route can no longer wash across the facility entrance.
How it held up
The lot has been through a full season of customer traffic and a couple of solid storms. The surface reads flat, the drainage works, and the owner has not had a single complaint about access since we wrapped. Job did what it was supposed to do.
