Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 23, 2026
Mountainside ER, Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your
privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through
mountainsideer.com (the “Site”) and in the course of our
services, how we use and share it, and the choices you have — including choices for Colorado
residents under the Colorado Privacy Act (CPA). Our terms are posted separately at
Terms of Service.
Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of personal data:
- Identifiers & contact information — your name, postal address, phone
number, and email address when you give them to us. - Commercial & service information — the service you request, quote and
appointment details, and records of our communications with you. - Internet & device activity — pages viewed, links clicked, referring
page, browser and device type, and similar usage data collected automatically through cookies and
similar technologies. - Approximate location — a general location derived from your IP address,
used to operate and secure the Site.
We do not knowingly collect “sensitive data” under the CPA (such as data revealing
racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, health condition, sex life or sexual orientation,
citizenship or immigration status, or genetic/biometric data), and we do not process sensitive data
without your consent.
How We Collect Information
- Directly from you — when you contact us, request a quote, book service,
or apply for a job. - Automatically — through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies as you
use the Site (see “Cookies, Analytics & Advertising” below). - From service providers — such as our website host, analytics providers,
and, if used, advertising partners.
How We Use Your Information
- To respond to your inquiries and provide, schedule, and perform our services.
- To operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Site.
- To send you service-related and, where you have opted in, text-message communications.
- With your permission where required, to measure and improve our advertising.
- To comply with our legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
Cookies, Analytics & Advertising
We use strictly necessary cookies to operate the Site. Where we use analytics or advertising
cookies, those are non-essential. You can opt out of non-essential cookies and of targeted
advertising at any time — Colorado residents may do so through a universal opt-out mechanism
such as Global Privacy Control (GPC), which we honor, or by contacting us as
described below. Third parties (for example, analytics or advertising providers) may collect
information about your online activities over time and across different websites when you use our
Site.
How We Share Information
We share personal data with service providers (“processors”) who process it on our
behalf (for example, website hosting, form and communications tools, analytics and, if used,
advertising vendors), and when required to comply with the law or protect our rights. We do
not sell your personal data for money. Any advertising cookies we may use could be
considered “targeted advertising” or a “sale” of personal data under the
Colorado Privacy Act; you can opt out of this at any time as described below.
Your Colorado Privacy Rights
If you are a Colorado resident, the Colorado Privacy Act gives you the right to:
- Access / confirm whether we are processing your personal data and to obtain a
copy; - Correct inaccuracies in your personal data;
- Delete personal data we have about you;
- Data portability — obtain your personal data in a portable, readily
usable format; and - Opt out of the processing of your personal data for (a) targeted advertising,
(b) the sale of personal data, and (c) profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or
similarly significant effects.
How to Exercise Your Rights
To submit a request, you may call us at 719-649-1030, email us at john@mountainsideer.com, or use our contact form. To opt out of targeted advertising or the sale
of personal data, you may also use a universal opt-out mechanism such as Global Privacy Control (see
below). We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. We may need to verify your
identity before responding, and an authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf. We will
respond within 45 days (extendable by an additional 45 days where reasonably necessary, with notice).
Right to Appeal
If we decline to act on your request, you may appeal within a reasonable period by contacting us
using the details in “Contact Us” below. If your appeal is denied, you may contact the
Colorado Attorney General at coag.gov/file-complaint.
Universal Opt-Out & Global Privacy Control
We recognize universal opt-out mechanisms. If your browser or device sends a
Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of targeted
advertising and the sale of personal data, and non-essential cookies stay off unless you choose to
enable them. Because there is no common industry standard for the older “Do Not Track”
(DNT) signal, our Site does not respond separately to DNT.
Data Retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described above or as required by
law, after which we delete or de-identify it.
Children’s Privacy
The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly
collect personal data from children. We do not process the personal data of a known minor for
targeted advertising, sale, or profiling without the required consent.
Third-Party Links
The Site may link to third-party websites we do not control. This Policy does not apply to those
sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new
“Last updated” date.
